Sergey Vasilkovsky was born in Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine in 1854 and he died in 1917.

    Very nice pictures. The old Cossack is classic.

    Looks like from the wattle fencing and the cob looking houses that a lot of wattle and daub was common.
