Work continues

 

Work in the wood-lot continues.

Four of the fence posts were left over from yesterday. The other 18 were from today's effort.

Time for a nap.

    How do you season those posts and when do you know they're ready and do you do anything to prepare or treat them?

    1. As a young guy, I never saw any point in seasoning because I was going to throw them back into the ground where they would absorb water.

      The only problem I ever had with that is I had a freshly cut post in a grape trellis take root and start growing.
