The seventy year-old widow with the timeshare problem was walking at the gym with her sister whose husband is still alive.
The sister was talking about how devastating it would be if her husband dies first and it got me to thinking.
"Granny" in the Ukrainian videos is probably a widow and she would have zero chance of meeting a decent guy in the modern, hyper-visual, lie-driven meat-market we call dating apps. And yet she is loyal and frugal and hard-working and cheerful....and her hands smell like honest food and garden dirt and soap.
Maybe Regans "Trust but verify" needs revision?

A sad truth Joe. I recall you mentioning about the ratio of older women and older men at your church. Ukraine Granny here has support from family.
