I am willing to use this blog to publish the timeline with the names of the judges and Prosecuting Attorneys who had the opportunity to address this criminal's trajectory.
I don't have the skills or time to dig this information out so I will be grateful if any of my readers will point to where that information resides.
Of particular interest to me are plea-bargains that were made and bail-amounts.
The toughest part of prosecuting is A: Finding witnesses who are willing to testify and B: Preventing perps from intimidating those witnesses. A stiff bail keeps the perp away from the witness. A high probability of conviction and incarceration also protects the witnesses.
One case that I have personal knowledge of involved an Aggravated Assault (felony) case. The case was rescheduled three times. The perp's attorney filed for a no-reason reschedule as soon as the prime witness checked into the courthouse. The judge always granted the reschedule and the witness lost a day of work and pissed off their boss (essentially punishing the witness). On the fourth date, the perp copped a plea for a misdemeanor as soon as the witness showed up AGAIN.
Obviously, the defense attorney was playing games hoping the prime witness would be a no-show and he could motion to have the trial called off and his client could walk. Equally obvious, the judge winked-and-nodded at the game for allowing the pattern of last-second reschedules.
It appears that a Fla Congressman has introduced a bill to address the problem of judges letting career criminals go free.

Such is an industry w/o competitive forces to force efficiency. In CDN the system is overwhelmed with the breakdown of personal morals. There can't be enough police officers, lawyers and judges if a society can't even abide by the 10 Commandments
ReplyDeleteWhat I don’t understand is the motivation. I get the upper echelon corrupt judges in the US that are driving the raging lawfare. They’re driven by politics and payoffs from the big donors and power brokers. Or the racist judges that want to stick it to Whitey by going soft on black criminals.
ReplyDeleteBut… this case..? Where’s the payoff in a judge letting two bit low-lifes run amok in dirt poor neighborhoods? Or is someone leaning on these judges?
Motivation is the key.
ReplyDeleteI know Soros has spent a LOT of Money (USAID and others) to PUT Judges, DA's and such in place for the chaos part of "resisting Trump" and destroying our country.
Remember that Soros was the "man that BROKE the British Pound" with his actions and earned himself most of his wealth that way. Soros had a lot of Shorts against the US Stock market during Trumps' first term and lost a lot of money when it didn't collapse.
When a news report is done in the "Real World" back a few years apart, different news agencies often had different views and coverage.
Today the "News Cycle" can make a story like the Ukrainian girl killed "Shut it down" overnight. Make the Lugi shooter into a HERO for murdering that CEO and so on.
Bigger EVIL things than I can understand are moving in America.
Ecclesiastes 10:20 comes to mind.
Joe, do you think if you're a nail sticking up to the powers that be that you'd be ignored?
Proverbs 27:12 and others say the wise sees trouble ahead and hides, meanwhile the foolish press on and get punished. Not that the wise man gathers his swordsmen and prepares to fight the troubles.
Ephesians 5:16-18 comes to mind as many others as evil governments isn't new and the people of God have often had to deal with that truth. Evil succeeds until in God's time it falls.
Israel fell several times into destruction and slavery until they repented and quit worshiping evil gods (lover case intended).
Perhaps the Whore of Babylon is America as "Her ports were filled with shipping from all the world" Babylon itself was a land locked desert city state. I would be hard pressed not to see in our national sins so described in that scriptures of the Whore.
Sodomy, adultery glorified, murder of babies like the times of Baal (who BTW had BOTH male and Female genitals odd that?) hatred of the parents and elderly and so on.
I suggest Joe my friend reread the proverbs about the wise and troubles. Quicksilver needs her grandpappy.
No edit button, sorry. But, but, but Jesus threw out the moneychangers in the temple with a whip.
ReplyDeleteYep, the Son of God on a mission to be crucified for my sins and yours did so.
It wasn't his mission to go along to get along.
Matthew 10 says a LOT about this.
