Quicksilver is about fifteen months old and her personality resembles that of her mother.
Some children are mellow and content to go-with-the-flow. Others have clear ideas about how the future is supposed to unfold and insist on sharing that vision with you.
Quicksilver is centered in the second camp.
She will let us know when it is time to feed her, when it is time for her nap and so on.
She also communicates when she expects me to pick her up and carry her. She does it by grabbing a hold of my trousers or pajama bottoms and pulling down on them. If I don't "listen" to the little princesses's commands, then she increases the volume by pulling harder.
And that is why some grandpas wear suspenders. Otherwise, being distracted has consequences.
