  1. I'd want to see what China considers "high speed". I'd be surprised if they actually built 30k miles of "true" high speed rail, i.e. over 200 mph.

    2. Similar experience with Japanese trains and subways. Convenient, people are respectful and well behaved (eating, drinking and cell phone conversations are frowned on).

    1. Bingo! the entire project was never going to be anything other than a giant graft for the politically connected.
This is the "tip of the iceberg" really. The stuff Nick Fuentes and DOGE are uncovering is just the really blatant stuff. How about the trillions spent on do-nothing work programs like the TSA?

    2. 11B. Think about it. That graft went well beyond the borders of the Golden Grift.

  3. To all who envy the faster trains, more civil conduct of foreign lands and think life must be better there, to steal a phrase , 'Delta is ready when you are'.

    1. Sorry Landroll those countries have real boarders and don't encourage random immigration.

In other words unless you have a real skillset they want your not invited. Unlike our "Give us your tired..."

    1. Consultants, I will bet. Gotta 'study' the issues with lots of overseas travel to inspect all the other rail systems.

Readers who are willing to comment make this a better blog. Civil dialog is a valuable thing.
