I once saw a comment by a landscape historian that it was only recently (meaning, I think, 19th century) that European artists starting painting trees with enough precision that you could tell which species they were. He must have meant broadleaf trees.
I am very surprised how much I enjoy Fine Art Tuesday. It is something I did not expect considering the blogs I usually read (homesteading type). This week’s art work is particularly beautiful. Thank you.
