G.E. Mullan was born in Tyler, Texas (USA) in 1943 and died in San Antonio in 2015 at the age of 72. He painted in the "Santa Fe" style and frequently painted religious and American Indian themes.

ReplyDeleteDuring Barchenkov's lifetime, the only wild bison (wisent) remaining in all of Europe were in Poland's Białowieża Forest where they are known as żubr.
ReplyDeleteThe very best Polish vodka, Żubrówka, is named after them. Flavored with a blade of bison grass (Hierochloe odorata) in every bottle. It got banned by FDA in the 1970's for causing heart failure. All my friends in Wyandotte were devastated.
