      Read the Gospel of Matthew from 21:12 onward (The purging of the temple to his being crucified). Seen through the lens of "The Deep State", Jesus left them no choice but to execute him.

    3. Was Rome "deep state" as it seemed Pilate did his best to avoid crucifying Jesus, but the MOB led by the Jewish Priests shouted crucify HIM and Give us Barbaris the Murderer if I recall correctly. Pilate then said:

    4. I am inclined to believe the Julius Caesar would agree that the Roman Deep-state was real. Different source than the Bible.

      The Deep-State is organized original sin. It doesn't stop or start at the boundaries of demographic groups.

It was really an elaboration of his personal beliefs, beyond his settlement of the Russo-Japanese War, and beyond what the Nobel Committee would accept at the prize ceremony.

      You really need to better understand the Jewish civil war which was already well under way during the time of Christ. Hellenized (urban) and Rabbinical Jews were actively fighting conservative rural Jews for control of their religion. The sides were about equally matched and the Hellenized & Rabbinical factions were actively courting the Romans for support in the conflict.

      Jesus was considered a serious threat by the Rabbinical Jews and had little support from the rural Jews. Most of his followers were drawn from the Hellenized Jews, so the unconverted majority of Hellenized Jews regarded Jesus as an existential threat. He was.

      The Jewish civil war would not be resolved until 135 AD, with the defeat of Simon Bar Kokhba. Bar Kokhba's rural followers were finally defeated by the Romans with the assistance of the Hellenized and Rabbinical Jews, but at a terrible cost. Bar Kokhba wiped out six Roman legions and wrecked elements of at least seven more. The worst defeat ever inflicted on Roman arms.

      Bar Kokba also dramatically reduced the Hellenized and Rabbinical Jewish populations. Jesus was caught up in this rebellion and only one of the many Jews killed in this century long civil war.

    7. Jesus's significance was lost to the main actors due to the "clutter" of the revolution. The two who were crucified to the left and right of Jesus were revolutionaries as was Barabus. Lines like "We have no king but Caesar" and threats to Pilate of "you are no friend of Caesar" is the leverage the Jewish power-structure (of the moment) used to force Pilate's hand and force Jesus's crucifixion.

      No. Christians interpret Isaiah 53 as describing suffering an individual male (presumed to be the Messiah) will experience at the hands of (unstated) individuals. Actually "smitten by God" in 53:4 is the only mention of a specific inflictor. It does not delve into the motivations of the broader group of individuals, but it does explain the motivation of the individual sufferer.

      You should know that the Jews have a very different interpretation of Isaiah 53. They interpret the suffering individual as a symbol of Israel itself, representing the collective suffering of the Jewish people. Isaiah is their book, so some credence should be given to their interpretation.
