  1. I was in Russia post-collapse, and that meme is exactly what it looked like. Elevators with wires hanging out were worked on by whoever was riding on them, train station railroad switches, etc. Food nearing rot was a norm at market. The presence of organized crime everywhere.

    If you ever want to really appreciate things you might take for granted in this country? Visit a post-collapse country.
