Northern Minnesota. The water is probably stained by run-off from bogs and stained by pine needles.Check out Tahquamenon Falls (northern Michigan but the same thing)
The first thing I thought that looked like fun! Hemlocks and pines will stain the water like that.
I think the water color is a result of taconite in Northern Minnesota.
