Asking for a friend

So, do all of those women who took hormone therapy and had their plumbing rearranged have to sign up for Selective Service? They claim they are now "men".

Are they in arrears if they are over 18 and younger than 26 and their names aren't on the rolls?

  1. It would be very disruptive to the military. There would be much whining and tossing a hissyfit along the line. I know one of these types, biggest whiner I’ve ever met.

    1. Well, yeah, if you're so dissatisfied with God's decision about your genitals, surely everything else outside of breathing must be a chore.

    2. One of the main purposes of boot camp is to lose your identity and become part of a larger team. In the old days, the platoon was self-policing because nobody wanted to run seven miles at two in the morning.

That would be hard for the attention whores who transition. It would also do them a world of good as individuals.

  2. I'm so very glad you mentioned that!
I bring it up every time I hear some woman spouting off about equality. It's funny, they deflect with comments like "is that still a thing?" , recently one person refuted the comment by claiming it wasn't required in their state (it's a federal thing, pumpkin, just try applying to college without it - any college that receives federal aid (that would all of them) are required to verify compliance before admission, but only the males).
Missing in all the retorts, is a desire to actually act and behave like equals. Telling, if you ask me.

    1. Oh, so your snowflake correspondent couldn't be drafted into his/her/it's STATE military.

      Kewl story.

  3. Hypocrisy is alive and well in those that hate their born sex.

But then again looking around, seems even in my life so I'll go back to sipping my coffee.

What's that scripture about throwing the first stone again?

Seems even Paul the Apostle struggled with sin.

  4. We demand equality ... until it's inconvenient.

  5. That my friend, is an improper question. It’s like trying to divide by zero - if you ever do manage to do it, our math and universe fall apart and nobody benefits and everyone suffers. We invent useful irrational numbers to patch things up.
If we treated this sexually indeterminate child as a man, our concept of masculinity will fall apart. As does the concept of womanhood. We’d have to make the military irrational to accommodate it.
Call it a clown and ignore it.

  6. LOL! If Congress actually mandates they register with selective service you'll be able to hear the screaming everywhere...without need of amplification. These idiots don't want to actually be men....they want SPECIAL TREATMENT. And they should get it. Just not the treatment they are seeking.

  7. Given the track record, are you certain you want to put a weapon in the hands of such a person?

    1. Outside of training, qualification and active deployment, it is relatively rare for active military to be issued both a service weapon and live ammo.

Given the disparities in VO2Max between biological men and biological women, it is unlikely that those soldiers carrying XX genes will be actively deployed in hot zones as infantry. That leaves them as cooks, clerks and motorpool and other support personnel.

There are differences between the services as well. Clerks in the Navy are less likely to be armed than clerks in the Marines due to threat environment and corp philosophy.

  8. President Biden mandated that transitioning military members be offered surgery and hormones at no expense, causing a small influx of folks that wanted their sex change but didn't or couldn't pay for it. It did not turn out well (surprise) and that policy has been rescinded. The active duty and veteran suicide rate is high enough without adding folks that have a 40% chance of attempting suicide during transition, thank you very much.
