I can state with +80% confidence that I have at least two, regular Canadian readers.
I can also state that over the years I have had at least 3 Cooey-like (Savage branded) firearms in the ERJ arsenal-of-democracy.
Should the zombie apocalypse happen tomorrow, I would feel better prepared with a "Cooey-like" .22 and .20 gauge shotgun than I would with two, $4000 Weatherby magnums. You, of course, are entitled to your own opinions.

ReplyDeleteIf memory serves me correctly, the world record grizzly that stood for many years was killed by a Canadian "First People" woman using a single shot Cooey .22 using .22 longs (not long rifle) ammo. First shot through the ear dropped it in its tracks the story goes, followed by several "insurance" shots to the same spot just to make sure.

ReplyDeleteI have a nickel (Canadian) that says you have considerably more Canadian fans than two. This site is a daily read since before 2014. So many thanks for your stories, observations, bits of advice and most of all, sharing your life outlook.
ReplyDeleteI have two Winchester Cooey's model 600 up on the bench as we speak. Reblueing and furniture refinishing, replace some parts.
