Mrs ERJ hinted that she wanted to have one of the bedrooms repainted with Seafoam.
I did not know that there is a color called "Seafoam" but I know that now.

Any clue on how long it will take for the smell to disappear?
Set the thermostat on 90 degrees and turn the fan on high. The heat will evaporate the compounds and the fan will disperse the vapors... Then repaint the room with oil based paint to seal off any remaining oily compounds. Use oil based paint so that it will bond to the remnants. Water base paint will mix with the remaining oily residue and leave a slimy mess that will be difficult to mitigate. Let me know how it works out. ;-)

Title is the Thermodynamic reckoning.
As an EMS sort I know a fair bit about numbers, probabilities and a hobbyist level knowledge of thermodynamics.
As a bit of a history buff, I know a lot of the history here including Lucent's collapse.
Concerning as even the Big Brother knock on effects of "successful AI" isn't encouraging.

ReplyDeleteWhen parents moved what was to be my room was some hideous color so I got to pick out what I wanted. I picked sea form green. That was more than 60 years ago.
