Robert McLellen Bateman was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1930 and is still living in Canada.
Famous for his paintings of wildlife which are done in amazing detail and in with believable backgrounds.

ReplyDeleteBateman has a high school named after him in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Abbotsford also named schools after Chief Dan George, Terry Fox and Rick Hanson -- two of those being cross country heroes.
