There was damage to the new growth on some plants. Sprayed some organic bug killer that did not even rise to the level of "boo!" in terms of results. So ... I have this odd habit when working in the yard and the thirst and mosquito counts match. I set up my chair, a 2.5 gallon wet vac and gatoraide. I sit for a few minutes and as the mosquitos get brave I hit the power switch and slurp them up. By the time I finish the gatoraide and the underside of my chair I am not bothered by either annoying item for a couple hours. Point is, it works on the beetles on my potatoes too. Though as in skeet you must lead them. See...I just can't justify grafting watermelons. Seems like a poor return on time invested to me. The only melons I'm raising this year are Rocky Ford cantaloupes. My back yard plot is rather small.

Growing up, our garden was over a half acre. At 67 years old with a bad back and balance issues, it would probably kill me to take care of one anywhere near that size.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2970975545475697571.post-21862095515707820702022-06-26T15:03:40.040-04:002022-06-26T15:03:40.040-04:00An series of N, 80% solutions equals 1.0-0.2^N

It wasn't a 'great' success, but it worked... kinda, sorta.Old NFOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16404197287935017147noreply@blogger.com
