The five year old grabbed on to the gate and told hie big brother the fence was off, he was wearing rubber boots on dry ground. His big brother grabbed the fence and was about set on his butt. He was wearing sneakers and weighed lots more! Also this year the moose got all my peas because conditions were droughty enough that they didn’t make enough ground contact to discourage them. Another thought, the infirm person who can sit and do hand work can allow the healthy one more time to do the heavy stuff in your calorie equation the same when you get the five year old to pick up potatoes or other root crops when you are rushing to beat a hard frost! Some of the trees are 36 inches at the base. Anyway, I have just over 600 pounds in hull and will powerwash off the hulls. Do you tap your trees for the sap/syrup in the winter?
