I really like the glimpse of something human to give the scenes scale. The tiny sails in #2 and #5 bring out the immensity of the sea and the corners of the houses in #6 how harsh the landscape can be.
Have you posted Albert Bierstadt for Fine Art Tuesdays? I used to like his landscapes and seascapes.Southern NH
