Still raining

Eaton Rapids is just below Lansing at the north edge of the red, 6" region.
Six inches of rain in the last twenty-four hours and it is still raining.

The rain melted all of our snow, which probably amounted to another couple of inches worth of water.

The cricks are full and still rising.

  1. No. Kazoo County here. I think storm total software is about as accurate as global warming programs. Had my rain gauge out since last night w/3.3" as of 8:00 PM. So I'm way over the NWS totals (https://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=grr&product=N0R&overlay=11101111&loop=no) and way under your Accuweather guesstimate.

    1. Thanks for the update. Schools had a two hour delay this morning. I will look for some buckets and see what is in them.

Agreed about Accuweather guesstimate often overestimating rain.
