All is well with the world

I was lying on the couch with my eyes in screen-saver mode.

Mrs ERJ was taking down the Christmas tree.  She has a clear tackle box that she puts the ornaments in.  One space for each ornament.

Most of our ornaments are made by family.  Donor, year and occasion are written on their backs or bottom in fine penmanship (Mrs ERJ's).

Mrs ERJ thought I was napping.

I heard very faint whistling.  It was a happy tune.

I never noticed Mrs ERJ whistling before.  Later, I asked her about it.  She told me that she used to sing and hum much more frequently when she was younger.  I asked her why she stopped.  She told me that some guy (not me) made a cutting comment. Jerk!

It sounded good.  Very, very good.  I am looking forward to more music.
